Urea export green light has been given by government, manufacturers of fertilizer to ensure supply of safe national fertilizer. Amount of fertilizer that will be exported will be adjusted to keep the stock in the third line of not less than 500 thousand tons.
"If the stock is safe then attempted to pursue the export license already granted to the cost of stock is not getting heavier," said President Director of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri) Dadang Kodri when talking with detikFinance, Sunday (27/09/2009).
According to Dadang, urea fertilizer exports will be done through a tender conducted by their respective producers and handled by the director of marketing.
"Trader (seller) must follow national and international importance must submit a bid bond and other appropriate statutes. Goods taken after completion of payment," he explained.
As for countries that export destination, go Dadang, depending on the trader who won the tender. But generally the country to which exports are Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Philippines and others.
"The number depends from the best price and how many tons can pick it up."
However Dadang Pusri not sure when it will start to open tender.
"I wish great because a lot of stock, must not be news," he said.
As is known, the Government through the Ministry of Commerce has issued an export permit urea 478 thousand tons. Of export quotas, PT Pusri get rations of about 196 thousand tons, PT Petro Kimia Gresik as much as 16 thousand tons, PT Pupuk Kujang as many as 58 thousand tons, and PT Kaltim Fertilizer approximately 208 thousand tons.
Izjin was issued on September 17 and will end in December 2009. Faucets export urea fertilizer manufacturer reopened after complaining of a plentiful stock of up to 1 million tons. Stock pile has caused fertilizer factories are losing money.
